Wideacres a family run dog free site with great views of the sea and rolling countryside. A 5 minute drive from Boscastle and 10 minutes to the nearest Beach.

A mile from Boscastle Farm Shop and Cafe serving super breakfasts for your convenience and top quality fresh supplies.
So you don't always need to walk or drive there's a request bus stop that passes the end of the lane.
With beaches and walks, Thomas Hardy, waterfalls, spectacular scenery, ancient rock carvings and a museum of witchcraft there’s plenty here for everyone to see.

It’s a friendly spacious site so everyone can spread out and enjoy the views, the sea breeze and the sheer sense of wellbeing that comes from being outdoors, and near to the sea.

Enjoy hot showers and clean facilities in the spacious washrooms and indoor washing-up area for pots and pans.

You can park where you pitch and sizzle your sausages alfresco on your barbecue,  there's a great playground onsite and space for ball games too - so your kids are easily found when dinner is ready.

There’s a friendly bar with a pool table for some grown up fun later too. Serving pizzas and chips in the peak season too - look out for signs and opening times by reception.

Boscastle a 16th-century harbour town is just a five-minute drive away or take a leisurely walk downhill through the valency valley (just bear in mind it’s uphill coming back unless you're in time for the bus).

As well as being a very scenic spot, forever featuring on tv and films, Boscastle is home to a good variety of pubs and restaurants and a take away fish and chip shop.

Once you've explored Boscastle village put on your walking boots a short way on the famous South West Coast Path to Warren Point on the entrance to the harbour, with dramatic views.

Continue heading towards Tintagel taking in the spectacular scenery as you walk. Next stop is Trevalga to get some snaps of the Ladies Window a little further along take a detour to the famous St Nectan's Glen waterfall where you can grab a bite at the cafe before heading onto Rocky Valley- here you will find ancient rock carvings and ruins and outstanding views.
If you're still energetic, walk on to Bossiney cove and down to the beach for a well earned dip before heading back, or catch the bus or call a taxi.

Closer to site immerse yourself in history, by taking the path from Wideacres to the famous church at St. Juliot, where Thomas Hardy met his future wife Emma.
Continue from there towards Boscastle along the Valency Valley where you can meander along the river for a peaceful scenic afternoon.

Another cracking clifftop option is to drive to Tintagel  to see the castle and walk its famous new bridge and the medieval church on Glebe Cliff.

If you're heading to the  beach, it’s a 10-minute drive to Crackington Haven while Trebarwith, Widemouth Bay and Bude, are 15-20 minutes away. There's surf schools available to book lessons and hire equipment here too.

Staying at Wideacres, you’re well-situated for day trips to many top Cornwall spots.. Padstow’s harbour with its abundance of seafood is a 50-minute drive, an hour to the Eden Project, Flambards, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. There's cycle tracks with hire centres at Wadebridge and Bude too. National trust members will be spoilt for choice with places to visit nearby too.
